Our Convention Initiate will be Tanya Snyder, breast cancer survivor and awareness advocate. Mrs. Snyder, whose husband owns the Washington Redskins, was instrumental in helping to organize ZTA's first Think Pink! event and partnership with the National Football League.
The recepient of the ZTA Outstanding Alumna Award will be broadcast journalist Betty Nguyan, the new anchor of the CBS Morning News and former weekend anchor at CNN. An award-winning reporter, Betty is an alumna of Kappa Chapter at The University of Texas at Austin.
